Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. TJ cooked the bird and we had great weather down here for Tim and Cindie's visits! Check it out...

We are excited about Christmas this year. Stella will love all the excitement and little tiny pieces of paper to eat, and Micah thinks every gift is a firetruck! They are lots of fun these days!! Love you all...Merry Christmas!

We're back!

Ok yes, it has been awhile. Sorry to my loyal fans :) But my pictures have been held hostage by my camera since the computer was broken. I am back! Just trying to sort through our many many summer pics. In the meantime, it's Halloween and the kids loved it, well, at least Micah did. And TJ and I had fun too. Stella is just a little young still to get much out if it but she did look adorable as Cinderella. And of course Micah was our handsome fireman. Micah enjoyed trick or treating this year. We went around the neighborhood with our neighborhood friends. He kept wanting to open up his candy and eat it. After every house, he asked me to open the piece of candy he just got! Thank goodness for the house that gave out fruit snacks! Enjoy the slideshow!!

Potty Training

We started potty training Micah yesterday. He did great. He went in the potty every 30 minutes all morning. Then stayed dry for his nap! After that he had his first accident. He held it for so long and then we put on underpants right away without using the potty. My bad. And then only one more accident that evening. He does not at all seem interested in poo in the potty, saves that for diaper time still (as in last night and this morning in his crib). That will be the next major step....along with leaving the house. I've been staying home since we started to give him time to get used to this. I think I need to get a 2nd potty for the car as a just in case. So far today he is doing good too. Only went a couple times this morning but he used the potty both times. I think he gets it but I am also prompting him about every 2 minutes, so we'll see if he can remember on his own when I stop asking. I feel like he's such a big boy now! It will be nice to only have 1 kid in diapers again though. I imagine he'll be in diapers awhile at night still but soon we'll move him into a toddler bed too. He is just growing up so fast!!

Happy Mommy Day

We have had a good few weeks - Stella is 3 months old....now almost 4 months old! I had a wonderful "mommy day" and the best part was hearing my little guy say "Happy Mommy Day" when he woke up! He is so cute!! I am such a lucky mommy. This past weekend we went on a hike and even managed to capture a family photo. Enjoy the pics...
